The present Directors of Jaffé have over fifty years of experience of processing and supplying the highest quality Ostrich feathers. Our Ostrich feathers are supplied to many markets including costume, theatre, film and carnival. 'Les Miserables' and 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' being just two examples of shows that have used our Ostrich. Ostrich feathers are also supplied for weddings as table decorations, for horses plumes used in funeral processions, and even in fans used at burlesque shows. Our Ostrich feathers are also made into luxury pens for weddings, formal occasions and gifts.
In order to maintain the highest quality, after importation the Ostrich feathers are then graded, washed and processed before being dyed. We pride ourselves in being one of the very few, if not sole company in the UK able to process large quantities of Ostrich feathers. Please contact us if you wish to use our colour matching service.
Our large Ostrich feathers (20-25") have been graded into three categories. Prime Ostrich, Femina Ostrich and Spadone Ostrich although shorter versions of the Femina Ostrich are also available. |
